About Molly B's
An Award Winning Chef, Marlene Souza, is the creative and dynamic influence behind Molly B’s Cakes of Distinction and Design. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, she received her Associates in Baking Science and Pastry Arts in 2007.
A self-taught business woman, Marlene has been successfully designing and creating cakes for over forty years. Specializing in custom made artisan cakes; she will be delighted to design the cake of your dreams.
Born in New York, Marlene’s curiosity for baking began when she was a young girl who observed her mother and grandmother creating the traditional family recipes that eventually would inspire her interests in the culinary arts. As an adult, Marlene would continue her enthusiasm for baking that flourished as a hobby while she was raising her family.
With the help of her family and friends, Marlene opened Molly B’s Cakes of Distinction & Design. A family supported business reminiscent of the fond memories created in the kitchen by her relative’s years ago.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much do your cakes cost?
As each cake is custom made, it is difficult to confirm a price, due to many of the design elements & labor involved. In general our wedding cakes are between $5.95 – $12 per person. Sculpted cakes are much higher and are between $10 – $15 per person.
Can I have a cake tasting for a wedding cake?
Our tasting fee is $25.00. Most tastings are scheduled during business hours Thursday – Saturday. Due to the weekend weddings & deliveries it is not always possible to accommodate a weekend tasting. If your schedule only permits a weekend appointment, please let us know ahead of time so we can work out a time with our schedules.
When should I book our wedding cake?
We suggest 6 months to a year prior. Please check out our website and Facebook pages to view more photos of our quality and style of work we offer.
Do you deliver?
Yes we deliver. Charges begin at $35.00 and go up depending upon the destination and whether or not we have to return to the venue a 2nd time. Please keep in mind that long distance and out of state deliveries can be difficult and costly.
